Harold Delano Wynegar Jr. (born March 14, 1956 in York, Pennsylvania) is a former Major League Baseball catcher who played for the Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, and California Angels from 1976 to 1988. A two-time American League All-Star in 1976 and 1977, Wynegar was a catcher with good offensive numbers during the first five years of his career with the Twins. While with the Yankees he experienced a mental breakdown and disappeared during spring training thus ending his career.
He finished second in the 1976 American League Rookie of the Year balloting to Mark Fidrych.
He is currently the hitting coach for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees.
