Does anyone have a source for the statement that Bushtits are the only western U.S. birds to hang upside for "extended" times? Seems to me nuthatches and chickadees do that too. —JerryFriedman 22:16, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

I'm with Jerry. Nuthatches (in the Pacific North West) spend as much or more time upside down as bushtits.
