Bustos is a third class municipality in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 47,091 people in 9,799 households.

The Bulacan State University - Bustos Campus (BulSU Bustos) is the biggest satellite campuses in the university. It was established in 1976. For almost quarter of a century, BSUB has metamorphosed of the center of vocational and technical courses of a breeding ground of future educators and industrial technologist and as a feeder school of engineering aspirants to the main campus. Conscious of the vision and mission of the university, BSUB has become one of the higher education institutions in Bulacan at par with leading learning institutions in the region.

From the year it was founded, the external campus grew physically from sharing roof with the Bustos Elementary school to a five -room former public market building to the imposing the campus that it is today. The school grew as well from offering vocational technical courses and trade secondary school curriculum and two-year technical education courses to the four year and five-year degree programs that it now offers. The campus boast of its upgraded and revitalized curriculum.
