Business for New Europe (BNE) is a London-based organisation set up by business leaders to articulate a positive case for reform in Europe. BNE seeks to highlight the economic and business benefits of European integration. It was established in March 2006, following the closure of Britain in Europe.
BNE’s Chairman is Roland Rudd, who served on the board of Britain in Europe, and is the Senior Partner of Finsbury Public Relations.
Its Vice-Chairs include Lord Jay of Ewelme and Sir Stephen Wall.
BNE publishes articles/letters in the media and organises conferences/seminars. Speakers at recent events have included Prime Minister Gordon Brown MP, Foreign Secretary David Miliband MP, John Gummer MP and Charles Kennedy MP.
