I noted that you added the page Watershed Modeling System in the last day or so. I also note that it is highly populated with internal links and yet only the original page shows up in the history for the page. I'm trying to get a handle on the level of linking activity performed by original authors. Did you create all these internal links on your initial contribution? I ask specifically because the extent of the linking gives me the impression that a bot did a thorough job of scouting out all possible links. How much effort is involved in creating this level of linking? Are you just "that good"?
Thanks for any comments you may have. --Vjg 19:10, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:WMS Icon.png
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:WMS Icon.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:WMS icon.png. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:WMS Icon.png. The copy called Image:WMS Icon.png has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 19:31, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] I'm not sure what you're asking
I just wanted to create a new page about the Watershed Modeling System. Ask me a single question that is easy to answer an I'll answer it. All the links I created are for potential future articles.

[edit] Clarification
I appreciate your taking the time to answer. Here's the more direct question. While there are quite a few links on the page that do not yet have target pages defined, the following all resolve to existing pages. Some of them are not links I'd have even thought to include (e.g. 1990s, 2000, lumped parameter). Did you insert all of these links intentionally and is it correct that none of them were created by some automated process?
- watershed
- computer simulations
- lumped parameter
- regression
- hydrologic
- water quality
- HEC-RAS
- Brigham Young University
- 1990s
- Unix
- United States Army Corps of Engineers
- ported
- Microsoft Windows
- 2002
- HP-UX
- IRIX
- DEC-OSF
- Solaris
- DOI
- GMS
Thanks again for your time. --Vjg 20:35, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The links
The links on the Watershed Modeling System pages were not automated in any way. Actually, I made the page using the Groundwater Modeling System page as a template since this seems to be a pretty decent page. The GMS page already had lots of links, so I just copied its existing links.
