[edit] 3RR

Combined with all of your reverts today editing as 72.211.140.52, you've blown the WP:3RR rule completely out of the water. In addition, you're violating WP:SOCK. You need to stop editing this page for the day, or you're going to get your new account, and possibly your IP address, blocked.

Edit warring never works. --barneca (talk) 21:00, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Barneca,

Why is it you are reverting to the original? YAF is deliberately putting false statements and representing them as fact. What he is doing is trying to make it look reasonable to apply military standards and other restrictive standards to civilian shooting ranges. It is clear that the purpose is to force civilian shooting ranges to make great expenditures or close. This is just subtle, anti shooting range propaganda on YAF's part. Propaganda has no place in an encyclopedia.

And what it this sock puppet stuff? I thought you had to register in order to send messages. So I register so I can send messages and I get accused?

I reverted to the original because you and Yaf are WP:Edit waring, and I went back to the beginning so you could start again, with leveller heads, tomorrow. I have never run across Yaf before, but from a brief look at his user page and talk page, he seems to know what he's talking about, and to have been here a while, so at the very least please don't accuse him of "deliberately putting false statements and representing them as fact". I can pretty much guarantee that won't help you.
I only bring up WP:SOCK because you started using that new account to do exactly what you were doing with your anon account after you received a 3RR warning.
For Lead poisoning, I was going to look into that a little; if I find what I think might be a compromise, I'll post it. For Shooting ranges in the United States, I know absolutely nothing about it, so I'm bowing out of that one completely.
At first glance, you both look like you could really improve that article if you discussed things instead of mindless reverting. Please give it a try; it would be a shame if we lost one or both editors over this. --barneca (talk) 21:44, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
