If you can get some links together for team pages or information on the league in general it would help me, after this weekend I should be able to get some other things done. If you know anything on teams Ive already done, such as nicknames or coaches or anything along those lines I couldnt find, fill it in as well.
Im from the US...near Miami in Florida...I was doing some research on Panama for an online project and didnt find anything for a professional soccer league and a week or so later Ive done more work on ANAPROF than I had thought I could have done.

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:RIVER PLATE pan.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:RIVER PLATE pan.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:AFC Euro Kickers.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:AFC Euro Kickers.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 05:54, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Reversions of logo removals
I noticed you just reverted my removals of the team logos from the Panamaian league articles. The reason I removed them was that they don't have a fair-use rationale for these articles and therefore if they are put on these pages the images are liable to be deleted. If you wish to keep them there, please add a FUR on every image page for the articles you wish to use them on. Lots of logos for teams have been deleted from Wikipedia recently because users thought they'd look nice on the league pages, but didn't add rationales. If you don't add FUR's, and they are deleted, then someone will have to re-upload them at a later date. Nanonic (talk) 03:30, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply, there is no need for apologising for the reversion - a lot of people have problems understanding the sheer awfulness of Wikipedia's image policies and get confused when they see others removing images with cryptic reasons.
- Anyway, there are a number of templates available for helping you to add fair-use rationales. The easiest one for you to use in this case would be a multiple rational template. I've edited Image:CAI.jpg to show you what these look like. All that is needed is a link to the articles that the image is used on and a reason for their inclusion - "To identify the team" is fine as a reason for logos. The other benefit of the template I've chosen for that image is that it's easy to copy. Since I don't have much to do for the moment, I will go through all the Panamaian logos for you and add the FURs. Should save any future problems. Nanonic (talk) 03:55, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, I've done all those in Category:Panamanian football logos that are on the ANAPROF and Primera articles. The reason I used the templates {{Non-free image data}} and {{Non-free image rationale}} is that they stack - i.e. you only have to add the source and description once in "data" and then you can add as many rationales as you like for different articles. If you want to use these logos on any more articles in the future, just copy and edit the templates - if you look at one of the image pages now you'll get the idea. Hope that helps. I only came across them as I'm currently in the middle of moving all football logos into their own categories. If any of this is still confusing to you, drop me a message.
