Talk:Burlap To Cashmere
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It's not that nobody has heard about the group since. A friend of mine (in my church) had gone to a festival in Pennsylvania where BtC was playing. When he came back, he reported that not only did they not have the full lineup, but that the band had announced to the audience that they were playing their last show. That was around 2001 or 2002.--Mcvoid 21:43, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
They had split up I believe in 2000 or 2001. From what I remember (forgive me if any details are fuzzy) when I was following this band pretty closely back then, they had hit a lot of drama with each other after the band split up. There were a few members who decided music wasn't their calling and went to become teachers. The one member who owned the website posted that the band was breaking up, but Steve wanted to continue his music career, and continue using Burlap as a name for his band, and was upset (the drama). That's when Steve went solo using his name instead of BTC. His solo career didn't go that great, and he wasn't really heard from in a while. Recently Steven and Johnny got back together, bringing BTC back. but then Johnny got in a really bad car accident, which slowed down their timeline. --Attgig 15:18, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
