Talk:Burial (musician)

Do we know this person is a he?
- No. My use of the word 'he' was not intended to imply any judgement as to Burial's gender. I used 'he' because I believe that the singular they is grammatically incorrect and the formulation "he/she" is clumsy. The word "he" has historically referred to both genders, and as far as I'm concerned it can continue to do so. --Richardrj talk email 17:15, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
Fair enough - I appreciate the alternatives are horribly clumsy. Kisch 03:12, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
In an interview in The Wire 286 December 2007, Burial is consistently referred to as "he". (link added to article) Roreek (talk) 08:37, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
He's definitely a "he" - in that Wire article he refers to himself as his "Mum's son". --Brian Fenton (talk) 00:18, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
Burial is an alter ego of Kode9. --kronaar (talk) 14:56, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Why
May someone confirm why Burial is into "living people" category? Best wishes. by Dead man. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.53.139.74 (talk) 09:03, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] BMI page
I've come across this page in BMI's Repertoire Search for one William Bevan. The songs listed are clearly Burial's but I'm wondering how, if possible, this information could be worked into the article. I'm afraid it could probably be regarded as original research.--Lairor (talk) 02:25, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] citations
the BMI info is cited. don't remove it. if you're going to add stuff regarding identity, please cite that too. --Kaini (talk) 17:30, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
