Description

The Burrard Peninsula (left to right across upper middle of photo), of which the City of Vancouver forms the point, lies north of the Fraser River (flowing from upper right to bottom) and south of Burrard Inlet and the North Shore mountains of the Coast Range (background). The alluvial delta flats of Richmond (lower right) are south of the river. This view is from the west, looking east.
