Burton Constable is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is located approximately 9 miles north east of Hull city centre and 3 miles south east of the village of Skirlaugh.
The civil parish is formed by the village of Burton Constable and the hamlets of Marton and West Newton. According to the 2001 UK census, Burton Constable parish had a population of 120.[1]
It is the site of Burton Constable Hall.
Marmaduke Tunstall the ornithologist was born in the village.
