Burrator

Burrator is a parish in the English county of Devon. It is entirely within the boundaries of the Dartmoor National Park.

The parish is said to be one of the largest in the country, at 59.45 square kilometres, but also one of the most sparsely populated. The last population count, in 2001, found that 1,540 people live in the parish.

The parish contains the villages of Dousland, Meavy, Sheepstor and Walkhampton, and is twinned with the municipality of Mathieu, in Normandy, France.
