Burnley United F.C. are a football club based in Burnley in Lancashire.
They are associate members of the Lancashire Football Association, and in the 2007-08 season their senior team is playing in the West Lancashire League Premier Division, which is at the 11th level of the English football league system.
They joined the West Lancashire League in 1971, and since the 1972-73 season have been playing in the league's top division. Of the current West Lancashire League Premier Division clubs, they have the longest spell playing continuously at this level.
Burnley United FC play their home games at the Barden Sports Ground, off Barden Lane in Burnley. This is a multi-purpose athletics stadium, with the football pitch being contained within the centre of an all-weather running track. The sports ground has floodlights, which are suitable for the club to play matches with an evening kick-off when required.
The club's colours are red shirts, black shorts, and black socks. They usually produce a programme for their home games.
