Burlingame Intermediate School (BIS) is a public middle school in the Burlingame School District. It is located in Burlingame, California on the San Francisco Peninsula. It enrolls about 800 students in grades 6-8. The current principal is Pam Scott and the vice principal is Greg Barnes.
They run their own T.V. broadcast called KBIS that talks about school news and events. It runs from 8:30 to 8:40, sometimes longer on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Situated adjacent to Franklin Elementary School, the school has several buildings instead of one main building; these "wings" are numbered 4 through 12.
