[edit] Hold-out rule

Because of the narrow center platform, a hold-out rule has been implemented at this station, where only one train can enter at a time. Construction is now underway with the building of a new platform on the east side of the Caltrain tracks, eliminating the need for a hold-out rule.

[edit] Station Renovations

On February 25, 2008, Caltrain opened the new northbound platform at the station. This included new ticket machines, wheelchair accebility, and LED-indicator signs. Caltrain will open the new southbound boarding area on April 1. [2][3]
