Burley Design (previously Burley Design Coorperative) LLC is a company based in Eugene, Oregon, United States that has been producing a variety of outdoor family products since 1978. Burley is best known for their signature blue and yango child bicycle trailers which were one of the first brands to hit the market in the early 80s. In the past, Burley was also known for their USA made bicycles, recumbent bicycles, and bicycle commuter rain gear.
In September 2006, Burley Design, LLC was purchased by a Eugene, Oregon, businessman. In attempts to alleviate the co-op's financial problems, production of bicycles, and apparel ceased on Friday, 6 September 2006. The company has turned their focus on Burley's line of child, adventure, and pet trailers, which has always been the foundation of the Burley Brand. In 2008 Burley celebrates 30 years of designing and manufactureing outdoor family products in the USA!
