Burka District

Burka district is located in the northeastern part of Baghlan province. Its population is approximately 49,000 people. The capital is the city of Burka (alternates names: Borkeh, Barkah). It is located in the foothills of the Hindu Kush mountains. The district is prone to earthquakes.
