Burger Fuel

Burger Fuel is a quickly growing New Zealand owned chain of gourmet Burger Restaurants. Burger Fuel sells Spud (Potato) fries, Kumara fries, wraps, Burgers (beef, chicken, fish, gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian), bottled soft drinks, maltshakes and its own branded ice cream.

Burger Fuel burgers are famous for their large size (apart from the mini burgers), their special Aioli sauce, freshness, taste and for the patented 'Doofer'. Burger Fuel as a gourmet burger chain focuses on many niche areas: Items such as vegan/vegetarian food, gluten-free as well as some Organic food products.

In 2007 Burger Fuel Worldwide publicly floated on the NZX. The company directors were hoping to generate $15 million dollars from the IPO, however ultimately raised a little over a third[1] On the 5th of May, 2008 Burger Fuel Worldwide announced it had agreed to its first Master franchise agreement with Dubai based Al Khayyat Investment Group Investments LLC. They will set up, and operate stores in Dubai, UAE by the end of the year. Dubai is considered to be a high profile city for Burger Fuel.[2]

United Arab Emirates
On May 5, 2008 Burger Fuel Worldwide announced that they had signed a deal to enter the UAE city of Dubai. The company's first store in the emirate will open before the end of 2008 in the Festival City development.[3]
