Burchard is a village in Pawnee County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 103 at the 2000 census.

Burchard is located at 40°8′55″N, 96°20′53″W (40.148701, -96.348114)[3].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.4 km²), all of it land.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 103 people, 42 households, and 28 families residing in the village. The population density was 649.7 people per square mile (248.6/km²). There were 52 housing units at an average density of 328.0/sq mi (125.5/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 97.09% White and 2.91% Asian.

There were 42 households out of which 33.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 61.9% were married couples living together, 7.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.0% were non-families. 26.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 16.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.45 and the average family size was 3.03.

In the village the population was spread out with 26.2% under the age of 18, 7.8% from 18 to 24, 23.3% from 25 to 44, 19.4% from 45 to 64, and 23.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 43 years. For every 100 females there were 74.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 72.7 males.

The median income for a household in the village was $30,625, and the median income for a family was $40,000. Males had a median income of $21,250 versus $19,306 for females. The per capita income for the village was $14,390. There were no families and 5.5% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 10.0% of those over 64.
