Burbank High School is a public high school located in Burbank, California. The school was built in 1908 when it broke off from the Glendale Union High School District. Burbank High will be celebrating its centennial with the class of 2008-09 being the Centennial class.

Burbank High School is the flagship high school of the city of Burbank. Opening on September 14, 1908, Burbank High School's inaugural class had 334 students.
Soon after, John Burroughs High School opened to support the growing population of the City of Burbank.
In 2003, after going an extensive revitalization, Burbank High opened its first phase of reconstruction - a modern, state-of-the-art building housing new classrooms for the entire school. In the course of two years, finally completed in 2005, the Burbank High campus boasted a new gym, pool, visual and performing arts center, parking structure, athletic field, and tennis courts.

Burbank High is known for having a nationally ranked showchoir In Sync, directed by Brett Carroll. They as well as crosstown rival school John Burroughs High School are both ranked nationally in the top 5.[1]. Burbank High School hosts its own show choir competition called the Burbank Blast, intended to be held annually starting 2008.

Burbank High School runs two competitive Academic Decathlon teams, ranked in 2007 23rd in the United States, and currently holding 12th overall in Los Angeles County Office of Education.
- The Roberta Kordich award was given to coach Valerie Beidelman for her support and dedication to the Burbank High School Academic Decathlon Team.
