[edit] Merge detritus
Removed from article "John 'Bunny' Breckinridge" during merge:
- John "Bunny" Breckinridge (1902-1996) was a famously gay, transexual entertainer, eccentric millionaire and Hollywood b-movie actor, probably best known for his work with Ed Wood, Jr. and resulting appearance in Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959). Breckinridge worked as an entertainer in Paris before moving to Los Angeles in the 1950s.
This conflicts with the current Bunny Breckinridge article in three ways: Was he born in 1902 or 1903? Was he in fact a millionaire? Did he spend time living in Paris or New Jersey, or both? --Quuxplusone 17:45, 26 August 2005 (UTC)
- These questions, and more, are answered in my extensive rewrite. He was born in 1903, if his obituary is correct. He lived in many places over the years, including Paris, England, Hollywood, San Francisco, New Jersey, etc. Whether he was a millionaire or not is debatable, but he *was* wealthy enough to afford homes on each coast, and apparently worked no real jobs but theater throughout his life. wikipediatrix 05:12, 24 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] The Inquisitor?!
"He continued his theatrical career throughout the 1950s, but in small local productions, such as playing the role of "The Inquisitor" in Richard Bailey's production of Beckett's Waiting for Godot in Carmel."
Waiting for Godot is one of the most famous plays of the 20th century, and it doesn't feature an inquisitor. Either, this is wrong, or it requires further explanation. Juryen 12:58, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
