Bunkyō is a Japanese word and has these meanings.
- Bunkyō-ku (文京区), one of the 23 special wards that constitute the central part of the metropolitan prefecture of Tōkyō, Japan.
- Either of two private Japanese universities: Bunkyo University (文教大学: Bunkyō Daigaku) or Bunkyo Gakuin University (文京学院大学: Bunkyō Gaikuin Daigaku).
- A compound noun of Chinese origin, written 文教 in kanji and meaning literate or educated (文: bun) and teaching or learning (教: kyō).
