[edit] Bumiputera is not the appropriate title

Bumiputera is not an appropriate title for this. I think it should be merged with the article 'Malay People'

  • Maybe it could be a subsection of Malay People, but it is really a concept like Bumiputra. --Novelty 11:37, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

Any reason why this article does not have the appropriate title? __earth (Talk) 12:40, 14 June 2007 (UTC)

    • Why is Bumiputera not the appropriate title? We already have Bumiputra and Ketuanan Melayu. Ketuanan Melayu has even been identified as a featured article with a non-English title. Also, despite the fact that the title may not be in English, WP:UE still applies here as well, since "Bumiputera" as a concept, is used in the Brunei English press, for example: [1] --Novelty (talk) 15:25, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
