Bumper Films
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bumper Films was a children's stop-motion production company founded by John Walker and Ian Frampton in 1982. It is best known for creating Fireman Sam in 1987-1994. It also created Joshua Jones in 1991-1992 and Rocky Hollow in 1983. The company was also used for S4C and BBC. In 2000, all the rights to Fireman Sam were sold to HiT Entertainment and Bumper Films was sadly shut down.
The logo was two men on a bumper boat with a flag saying "BUMPER FILMS". One was enjoying the ride and the other was looking through a telescope. The music or sound was a splashing sound or a whooshing sound. You can still see the logo on Fireman Sam classic DVDs.
