It is reported that the Autralian Bull ray (Myliobatis australis) caused Steve Irwins death see - Practical Fish Keeping - Jeremy Gay: 5.9.2006. How does this fit into the list of species here? Lumos3 11:19, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

Australian bull ray (Myliobatis australis) is not found in northern Queensland so cross it off the list of culprits. I don't think any of the Pteromylaeus live in Australia at all, certainly Pteromylaeus bovinus doesn't, so I don't think it was any of these either. Nurg 01:26, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
