[edit] Demographics

I like what you did here. The change in population from last census should be sufficient to give a view of the recent fluctuation in population of the riding. DoubleBlue (Talk) 19:39, 21 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Election results

The moving of former votes to the Election results section is good. It's nice to see them all together in a section with the most recent. The History section can document significant changes in the riding and interesting details about the history of the area itself. DoubleBlue (Talk) 19:43, 21 May 2005 (UTC)

The images you made are great as well. It's nice to see at a glance the shifts in voting in the polls. Good work! DoubleBlue (Talk) 19:44, 21 May 2005 (UTC)

  • This Bulkley Valley-Stikine happened to be relatively easy because the voting areas are labelled but most other districts are not. If they are unlabelled, then I cannot translate the 1996 results. One critism I have about the images is that I cannot show who the second place party is. A one vote difference between Lib and NDP, and a one vote difference between Lib and Reform (with NDP in last place) both up as Close Liberal. For the 2001 election the second place winner would be much more interesting (since Liberals pretty much swept most areas). The GIS program I am using is very basic (its free) and doesn't allow for detailed analysis (ie. colour ramp) and data input would take a massive amount of time.-maclean25 00:33, 22 May 2005 (UTC)
