The Buller team play from Victoria Square, Westport and in the 2006 season are in Pool A of the Heartland Championship. They are seeded 7th for the Championship as they finished 3rd in the 3rd division in 2005.

Buller along with Canterbury, Tasman, West Coast, Mid Canterbury and South Canterbury make up the Crusaders Super 14 franchise.
