Bulgarian-Russian relations are foreign relations between Bulgaria and Russia. Both countries established diplomatic relations on July 7th, 1879. Bulgaria has an embassy in Moscow and 3 consulates generale (in Saint Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg). Russia has an embassy in Sofia and 2 consulates generale (in Ruse and Varna).
