[edit] Welcome
BillCJ,
I am new here, so please forgive me if I have some errors talking with you. I have an extended expertise in MC-130 operations. Someone pointed to me the discrepancy, so I made a small adjustment to the MC-130 page. I also redirected the MC-130P from the C-130 page to the MC-130 page. Thanks for the work you have done here, it looks good and accurate.
Buke130, THanks for your expertise, and and I welcome you to Wikipedia. It's great to have someone with firsthand knowledge who also is willing to use outside sources as required. I'm sorry if my notices came across as unfriendly, but those links are the best way to get people up to speed quickly. I'm also sorry if my changes "stomped" on your last two edits. I had thought your were finished with the your edits, or I would have waited. Feel free to take a look at the Wikipedia Aircraft Project, a group of editors who try to improve aircraft-related articles. Your participation would be welcome. - BillCJ (talk) 08:01, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

- Sir, congrats on ACSC. That's quite an accomplishment
- I too am Air Force and spent 3 years in the AFSOC community (see my user page). I've been on Wikipedia for about a year now and might be able to help you navigate some of the intricasies of this site. Just drop me a line if you need some help.
- I haven't been too impressed with the bots here on Wikipedia, especially with the ones that watch out for new images. I fixed the copyright status, but I highly recommend uploading the higher resolution version on the af.mil page. This will allow for better uasge of the image in varying sizes.
I think the Combat Shadow needs a separate section in this article or another article altogether. Thoughts?I see you've already added that...my bad.

Thanks Aggie. I stay surrounded with good friends from A&M...solid bunch. I'm a VMI grad myself.
1. I appreciate your support for the MC-130 addition.
2. I'll fumble around with the software code and the Wikipedia by laws until I become more familiar with everything.
3. Good luck with CSO school. AFSOC is a good world to come back to if you get the chance.
4. I'll see you around the AF.
