    [edit] Sumilao Farmer's March

Do we really need to add this on Bukidnon's history section? I guess there are more important events than this one. Kleomarlo (talk) 10:49, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Bukidnon is a pretty boring province so I dunno what else should be added (unlike other parts of Mindanao, this province is relatively peaceful) --Howard the Duck 10:04, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
This should probably be moved to Sumilao, Bukidnon. And maybe leave just a sentence for Bukidnon. --seav (talk) 15:24, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

I think you got the wrong impression here Howard. Let me guess, you are either live in the Visayas and Luzon areas or a Filipino living abroad. If you see Bukidnon as a boring province because it is relatively peaceful, then you are wrong. Just like any other place in Mindanao, Bukidnon also has a share of "not so peaceful" state. If there are MILF, and Abu Sayyaf in the ARMM provinces, we also have our NPA brothers here. Just like any rebel groups, they cause commotion in the province every now and then but unlike the Abu Sayyaf and the MILF, which have international and national coverage, the war that happens within Bukidnon mountains are not televised nor appear in broad sheets. Coverage of the media in the ARMM provinces, both national & international, tend to be OA. Although yeah Bukidnon is really relatively peaceful but it's not boring.Kleomarlo (talk) 08:44, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
Actually several provinces in Luzon have NPAs but they're still mostly boring, mostly due to NPA guerilla and limited engagement tactics... (IMHO it gets only "exciting" when there large scale military operations, and I don't want to see any of that...) --Howard the Duck 15:23, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
    Well that's your opinion...Kleomarlo (talk) 06:32, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
