[edit] Wikiproject Proposal

I've proposed a Panic! at the Disco Wikiproject here, to see how many people would be interested before starting one. The project would be an effort by a group of Wikipedians to build and improve all Panic! at the Disco pages (including members of the band, songs and albums). If you think that you'd be reguarly editing these pages, please put your name down at this page so we can see who would be interested in the project. Thanks in advance-

[edit] Picture

The picture isn't the real single cover it was a fan picture i don't know how to get rid of it so i just thought i'd write it on here.

[edit] Removed Citation Needed tag

I've read Choke, that line is definatly in there, I dunno who added the tag, but the line is in the book, printed on ink as writen by Chuck Palahniuk...so the tag isn't needed. If you want a citation, just pick up the damn book FinalWish 01:47, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Music Video

Information about the video keeps on being added and removed have all of the oieces of information been untrue so far?

That video is one of the wierdest things I've ever seen in my life. WTF was that?!?! SilverNightFire 10:58, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

is there any citation for the interpretation of the music video? if not, i dont believe it should be up

Is it really web-exclusive? I've seen it a few times on TV (I'm in the UK). Squidward2602 18:51, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Song based on Palahniuk's Choke or not?

I've removed the sentence stating that this song's title comes from a direct quote from Chuck Palahniuk's novel 'Choke'.

After recently re-reading the book its evident that there is no exact matching quote to be found. Additionally, after downloading a digital version of the book and searching through methodically, there is no evidence that 'build god, then we'll talk' is even a remotely interpretable theme that panic at the disco picked up on from Choke.

Additionally, i posted threads at the biggest Chuck Palahniuk forum and Panic! At The Disco forum on the internet asking people if they could identify where in Choke 'build god then we'll talk' is mentioned. Noone could find it.

The only possible connection to be found between choke and this particular song's title is when you google something like 'panic disco palahniuk', in which case you find this wikipedia article, and several weblogs all with the same line of information cut/copy/pasted from each other. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tortallbaali (talk • contribs) 00:25, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

It's not a quote from the book, are you thinking of "The Only difference..."? That is an exact quote from the book Survivor. Maybe you're thinking of the wrong book. No, this song definitely was not based on Choke. JazzlineB (talk) 23:33, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Panic! at the Disco - Build God, Then We'll Talk.jpg

Image:Panic! at the Disco - Build God, Then We'll Talk.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Band's favorite?

I've removed the following: ", and is the band's personal favorite (as of October 2005, everyone agreed, though there has since been a member change)". It's an interesting smidgen of trivia that doesn't have a reference, and it doesn't seem particularly worthwhile or valid keeping without the reference(s). Perhaps the reference will lead to an album-wide, track by track critique by the band themselves? Qwerty (talk) 16:33, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] =Information on lyrics

These interpretations of the lyrics are possibly incorrect due to a wide veriety of follow ons from each line. There is also no evidence that the band/ Ryan Ross may have intended for this interpretation. Use extra interpretations. .No mention of the attourneys wife .No mention of moonlighting and staying with the attourney for money (wife or possible prostitute)

I suggest reading the different interpretations on www.songmeanings.net —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.140.53.12 (talk) 20:12, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
