Built to Last is the fourth full-length studio album and the second (and thus far final) major label release by New York hardcore punk band, Sick of It All. It was released on East West Records – a subsidiary of the Warner Music Group – in February, 1997. Equal Vision Records held the rights to release it exclusively on vinyl.

Built to Last meant a year long work for Sick of It All, with pre-production beginning around late 1995, and the recording took place in not just one studio (Normandy Sound in Warren, Rhode Island, where the previous album, Scratch the Surface, was recorded), but also in two studios in California, one of the world capitals of punk rock.
