Buhawi Dance Artists, a non-stock contemporary-folkoric performing arts guild is a community based performing artists composed of mostly innovative youth from Taguig City, Philippines. Bound together by their common aspirations to develop themselves through the art of dance and bring glory and delight to its viewers, shows innovation on dances.
The group is now adopted by the city government and lately called as the Cultural Ambassadors of Goodwill for dance of the Taguig City.
Moving forward and pushing dance beyond its boundaries a group was officially founded on the 14th of November, 2004 (Originally formulated on March 2000) manifesting distinction of being creative and artistic performing group.
The Buhawi Dance Artists impressive repertoire of over 100 awards in and out of Manila including national dance skills awards and performances since founded. Carrying the most prominent dance creations uniquely Filipino in terms of movement, theme, design and inspiration.

Darangan
The first signature dance of Buhawi Dance Artists. A contemporarized & creative version of the Muslim (Southern Islands) dance suite.
The word Darangan came from the untold epic of singkil "Ang alamat ng Darangan"
Kuntay The latest original piece of the group. Combining all the popular philippine folk dances into a one creative and solid choreography.
Kuntay means to dance to the flow nature.
