Where can I purchase the movie THE GOOD EARTH with Paul Muni? The movie was made in 1937. I have a beta copy the I have had for years. I would like to purchase it either on VHS or DVD.

  • I suggest you move this to the Reference Desk. This isn't the place for these types of requests. --Quadraxis 02:52, 21 July 2005 (UTC)

Redirect to itself

I removed this:

If it's not actually a software bug, your report might get moved to Wikipedia:feature requests.

since it's a redirect back to this same page. func(talk) 15:03, 24 July 2005 (UTC)

pacioli

When I enter Pacioli in search, I get the reply there is no article. When I enter Luca Pacioli, I get the article I wanted. Shouldn't the index reference the last name?

Changing an entry name

How can I get the name of an entry changed? The entry name is Overnightscape. It should be The Overnightscape.

Everytime I get to this site.........

Everytime I get to this site, etc., I get blocked, access is DENIED, sometimes, when I access "en.wikipedia.org", contact is FORCIBLY terminated, such as "contact REFUSED". Heard this site was buggy. Do I need a can of Raid ?Martial Law 03:24, 30 October 2005 (UTC) :)

Using MediaZilla

I'm not sure why this page doesn't encourage people to register bugs in MediaZilla directly. That way, they get e-mail notification if someone needs more information, or if the bug is fixed. Plus, all the other tracking infrastructure is already in place, and no one has to come by to re-report things. People who can't or won't do so can still use this page, but wouldn't more self-help be more efficient? -- Beland 07:31, 30 October 2005 (UTC)

Developers?

Is this page really used? ARe there any developers checking in on this? Jpers36 18:41, 31 October 2005 (UTC)

Well, considering that I entered a bug on the 27th and its existence is yet to be acknowledged, the answer would seem to be either no or very infrequently.Tommstein 18:47, 31 October 2005 (UTC)

Redirection to Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)

Does anyone object to that redirect? I don't see why this should be a separate page. Apparently, it is rarely checked anyway. Superm401 | Talk 00:52, 7 November 2005 (UTC)

Whatever will get this stuff fixed works for me. Not that I actually know that the redirection will help, but it apparently can't hurt.Tommstein 01:00, 7 November 2005 (UTC)

Are the page move watchlist bugs fixed?

The following section was deleted/blanked without any comment during the semi-recent refactoring of the main page, why? see here and I've included it below. Perhaps the main page should be archived properly so there is a record of when bugs are fixed? zen master T 02:13, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

When an article is renamed new talk page is not watched

I had Hubbert peak on my watchlist, when it was renamed to Hubbert peak theory the new article title was added to my watchlist but not the new title's talk page. So currently I receive the "unwatch" tab at the top for the article, but get the "watch" tab for the talk page, doesn't make sense. Perhaps this obfuscation was by design? zen master T 20:19, 27 August 2005 (UTC)

No status or fix for this? In case you care and this "bug" wasn't by design there are actually two separate bugs here: first, when an article is retitled/moved it completely disappears from your watchlist until someone edits it at its new location. Second, the new title's talk page is not automatically watched (but the new article itself is) so any future discussion after an article is renamed/moved will be missed (very convenient). zen master T 18:18, 23 November 2005 (UTC)
It seems that this page is dead. We might as well learn to live with all the fricking bugs that are all over the place, since no one apparently cares. I guess this was just the designated place for the people to vent or something.Tommstein 16:25, 24 November 2005 (UTC)
