[edit] The Buffy Board (IMDb)
A tag has been placed on The Buffy Board (IMDb), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page, and put a note on Talk:The Buffy Board (IMDb). Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks.

[edit] Your article
While I understand you may have put a lot of effort into your article, unfortunately, it does not meet our policies on verifiability, reliable sources, and notability. I suggest that you review these policies in order to avoid further disappointment when editing Wikipedia. New users are often confused about what Wikipedia is and what it is not, so don't feel that this is a personal insult against you or your message board. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask me or any other experienced users. Crotalus horridus (TALK • CONTRIBS) 01:06, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
- You need to have reliable sources for your articles. For instance, if your message board was reviewed by a notable website, that would probably count; so would a mention of it in a newspaper, magazine, or TV show. These are what is known as secondary sources. The problem is that you don't have any sources for this article except the message board itself, and, unfortunately, that doesn't meet Wikipedia policies. - It depends on the context. A passing mention once probably isn't enough, unfortunately. Crotalus horridus (TALK • CONTRIBS) 01:24, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
