[edit] Mutiple Links
Hi. Glad to see another Buffaloes fan on here. Just wanted to mention that it's not necessicary to link the same item (name, whatever) repeatedly in the same section. There's actually a Wikipedia policy against it (Wikipedia:Manual of Style (links)). If you are interested in creating a Colorado Buffaloes basketball page I can give you some pointers. I created Colorado Buffaloes football so you could use the same format and just make it basketball oriented really. (I'm guessing since your edits were basketball related). If you have any questions, feel free to ask me. --MECU≈talk 02:04, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] CU Conference Championships
Hi. What did you use as a reference for this section that you added to Colorado Buffaloes? Because I know football had more conference championships than 1. Specifically, on Bill McCartney shows 3 (which I added) in 1989-91, though they were under Big 8 Conference play. Also, Bill Mallory shows 1 in 1976. I think there may have been a few more before that too. I was just wondering. I think the section looks nice otherwise. --MECU≈talk 19:15, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
- I took the data from the Conference champions section of the Big 12 Conference article. I know there are many conference champions from many of the CU teams. I didn't include them because I don't know what they are.BuffaloChip97 17:50, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Flag use
Hi BuffaloChip, I noticed you went through all the ISS expedition articles, and added flag icons. Have you had a chance to take a look at the Manual of style regarding the use of flag icons in article space? WikiProject Spaceflight members have discussed the issue at Talk:Exepdition 16 if you'd like to review that, but the consensus and manual of style says that nationality should not be emphasized in article space by a distracting graphic icon. Thus, NASA, JAXA, CSA, and RSA do not need icons, as they represent only one country each. ESA, however, represents many countries, and for those astronauts, flag use is appropriate, although it is preferable to simply put their country in parenthesis, such as ESA (Germany) to avoid flags in article prose. The nationality of a crewmember does not affect their job as astronaut, and as one project member mentioned, the addition of nationality could introduce problems with regards to neutrality. I understand your enthusiasm, and the work you've done on lists is awesome, and in lists, flags are sometimes appropriate per WP:FLAG. However, I think that the manual of style should be respected with regards to non-lists, "Flags are visually striking, and placing a national flag next to something can make its nationality or location seem to be of greater significance than other things." I'd appreciate your thoughts, and if you could take a look at that MOS, that would be great. I did remove the flags from Expedition 18 and 19, but then I noticed you'd done every expedition. It would be helpful if you agree with the manual of style, for you to remove them yourself, as I do not wish to revert your edits, that's not the type of person I am. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this! Ariel♥Gold 01:16, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Space missions WikiProject
Hi, I noticed that you are a member of the Space missions WikiProject. A couple of weeks ago, I proposed that the Space missions and Space travellers projects, which both appear to be inactive be merged into the Human Spaceflight project. Whilst this is being done, the capitalisation of the Human spaceflight project's title would also be corrected (ie. Human Spaceflight → Human spaceflight). The projects are all doing the same/very similar things, and in my opinion, a single, larger, project would be more effective than three smaller, and somewhat inactive projects.. In light of very little response to messages on the project talk pages, I am now sending this message to all members of all three projects, inviting them to discuss the proposal on the Human Spaceflight project's talk page. I would appreciate your opinion on this. Thanks. --GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk 22:28, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] STS-119
Hi, you added sts-119 to the infobox of several astronauts. Infoboxes (including those of astronauts) usually only reflect facts that have taken place. So I removed all those additions, because the astronauts have not yet flown these missions. The articles all mention that the astronauts have been selected to fly on the specific mission, and when they are actually up in the air, we can add the missions and the badges. --TheDJ (talk • contribs) 22:20, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
