[edit] Pondering AfD...

Frankly, I don't quite think the Buffalo Curse deserves its own article... though, as an upstate New Yorker, the curse makes me very sad, and I wish the national media paid our region more attention. :D

But frankly, I sorta think this should be merged with Drought (sports) and redirect there... --Jaysweet 00:36, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

Incidentally, the Buffalo Curse wasn't even mentioned on Drought (sports), I was the one who added it. heh....  ;D
Someday... it won't be '07, I'm afraid, but someday, 'dem Bills are gonna win themselves a friggin' Superbowl!! heh... --Jaysweet 00:38, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Questionable goal?

I can't remember any questionable goal in the 2006 game against Carolina. Afertig 19:10, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Origin of curse?

I found the article interesting. However don't curses usually have origins...what is the supposed origin of the curse? I read the link to the Ban Johnson action in 1901 but that seems to be more of an effect not a possible cause of the legend. --—Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.139.178.142 (talk • contribs)

I am not superstitious and don't believe in curses, but I always like to think that the origin of the curse was the infamous Fog game in 1975. A bat flew across the field and one of the Sabres swung at it with his stick, killing it -- believe to be the only time in history that an animal was killed during an NHL game.
Of course this (and the entire article) are complete hogwash, but it's fun to think about ;D --Jaysweet 20:52, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
