The Buff-faced Pygmy-parrot (Micropsitta pusio) is a species of parrot in the Psittacidae family. It is found in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
Little-studied, it is the known mainly for being the world's smallest parrot, at 11.5 grams and 8 cm (3.2 in).
