Should be some reference to the Split-pea soup thing, whose signs were up and down the coastal highway for many miles for many years (not sure if this is still the case)... AnonMoos (talk) 03:23, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

They're still there: the one on 101 east of Gaviota may be the only billboard in all of southern Santa Barbara County (grandfathered in during the billboard ordinance sometime in the 1970s, which prohibited all signage above a certain size, and in natural locations). I know there's at least one, and probably two, on 101 north of Buellton as well. Antandrus (talk) 03:30, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
Anyway, I linked to the official Split-pea soup site, since it seems to be Buellton's main claim to fame (though the site's main page doesn't seem to have been updated in over five years...). AnonMoos (talk) 08:34, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
