Buena Vista, Oregon

Buena Vista (pronounced /ˈbjuːnə ˈvɪstə/) is a former community in Polk County, Oregon, United States. The town was once the home of a pottery factory which was one of its primary industries.

The town's legacy survives in the name of the Buena Vista Ferry which still operates and once served the community.

The locals pronounce the name "byoona vista" instead of the normal Spanish way.
