[edit] Your logos
I was wondering, since you did so well with the Slurm logo and Planet Express logo, if you could possibly upload a better version of Image:Doop logo.png to make a better DOOP logo. If you don't want to that is fine, but if you do it would be much appreciated. Thanks! --WillMak050389 05:21, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- I'd actually forgotten about doop until yesterday. I'll definitely work on that one next, thanks. I'm mainly going to focus on versions seen in the show, and I don't remember this particular version, but I'll check out the flag and the uniform insignia and such and see if I can match the blue-oval version you've got. Buddy13 21:26, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
- The logo I got was from http://www.gotfuturama.com, and is also seen on http://www.doop.org. Don't think I can give you a specific ep. it is from, but I appreciate your willingness to do this logo. I know the one we have now is very small. Thanks again! --WillMak050389 00:20, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
The ovoid logo seems to come from the epsisode "Brannigan, Begin Again". The logo features prominently in both the old and new headquarters. The one in the new HQ seems more circular, but the one in Weehauken is definitely ovoid. So, I'll get started now, and it shouldn't take more than a day or two for a complete image. Thanks for the request. Buddy13 20:25, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
Done and done! I've uploaded it as a new revision of the old one. I do still have the original SVG if needed... I've also created a small GIF file to illustrate the ambigram-ness of the logo. And I shall copy/paste this to your user talk as well, since I don't know if you're watching this page. Buddy13 18:50, 7 September 2006

[edit] Your edit summaries
Keep the comments you make in edit summaries civil. JDtalk 16:58, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
- It wasn't intentionally un-civil. I just don't know what tag it should be, so if you know more about it than me, have at it. I think the new one I picked fits... At least I hope so. —Buddy13 19:01, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Dooprot.gif
I took Image:Dooprot.gif out of Ambigram because I believe it is a copyright violation. Though a logo is allowable, it probably should not be modified (in this case, rotated), and definitely not used except "to illustrate the television program in question". Thus we can't use the DOOP image as an example of an ambigram in the ambigram article, but only in the article about the DOOP itself. If you agree, please place {{Db-author}} on the image page to list it for deletion. Thanks, Λυδαcιτγ 02:56, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Dooprot.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Dooprot.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:55, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
