Budhill Singles Club
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Budhill Singles Club is a series of virtual albums released by Scottish rock band The Fratellis, the albums feature demos, acoustic and live variations, and unreleased tracks. They are only available to registered members of The Fratellis' official website. The name "Budhill" refers to the area of Shettleston, Glasgow from where bassist Barry Fratelli hails from.
The first volume started in 2006 before the release of Costello Music. During the course, two limited edition Budhill Single CDs were released, one with the release of "Henrietta" and one with the release of "Whistle for the Choir", these CDs came with a blank CD with the Budhill Singles stamp on to burn the stated songs on the cover onto the CD. There was also a place to store the CD release of the single.
The second volume started in 2008 before the release of Here We Stand.
