Budge Wilson

Budge Wilson is a highly acclaimed Canadian author. Wilson was born and raised in Nova Scotia. She has written 32 children's books since her fist work was published in 1984[1] and has received more than 25 awards for her work[2]. These awards include: 21 Canadian Children's Book Centre "Our Choice" awards, First Prize in the CBC Literary Competition, a City of Dartmouth Book Award, a Canadian Library Association Young Adult Book Award, a Marianna Dempster Award, and an Ann Connor Brimer Award.[3]
Her most recent work is the prequel Before Green Gables, a celebratory centennial release to the Anne Shirley series[4].
