[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Michael_Pittman.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Michael_Pittman.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

  • Just a note from me, BucsWeb. The photo in question was taken by myself. I guess I made a mistake in the copyright tag when I posted the photo. I didn't log into Wikipedia for a while and never saw the above notice until it was too late and the photo had been deleted. I'd upload it again, but I guess it's not really that important that we MUST have a photo on the page.

[edit] DYK

Updated DYK query On 18 May 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Pinellas Trail, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Ufo you are here.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Ufo you are here.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Florida state song

I partially reverted your changes to the state song section of List of Florida state symbols. "Florida, Where the Sawgrass Meets the Sky" won the new song contest, and has been introduced in a bill, but it's not the state song yet. Additionally, by changing the reference the way you did, you nuked a link to the note which added a good deal of information and mentioned the new song contest. I changed the song back, restored the link to the note, and added your reference (properly formatted) to the notes section. When the bill is passed and Governor Crist signs it, we can update the chart, but let's wait until it's official before the change is made. Horologium (talk) 14:19, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Germany Invitation

Hello, BucsWeb! I'd like to call your attention to the WikiProject Germany and the German-speaking Wikipedians' notice board. I hope their links, sub-projects and discussions are interesting and even helpful to you. If not, I hope that new ones will be.

[edit] Speedy deletion of Template:User St Petersburg

A tag has been placed on Template:User St Petersburg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).

Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 19:30, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Science channel logo 2007.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Science channel logo 2007.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:32, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
