RfB With A Smile :)
Thanks!
Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my user page. =) -- Gogo Dodo 22:23, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
- Re your message: It was certainly a weird one. I had reported him to WP:AIV a few minutes before you blocked him (I removed the report). Thanks for taking care of him. I have this funny feeling that he or one of his friends will be back though, since those two anonymous IPs piled on top of the joke. -- Gogo Dodo 22:40, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Re: Userpage revert
Sure thing. You're quite welcome. :D →DancingPenguin 23:23, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
Knowledge Maps
Hello Buchanan-Hermit
Thanks for your comments below:
Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Winston Churchill. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. -→Buchanan-Hermit™/?! 21:56, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
I think "vandalism" is a little harse but everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect yours. I was not aware of the "sandbox" on Wikipedia so thank you for pointing it out. I will test out futher areas there.
We are working through the issues with Wikipedia Editors and plan to have a "wiki clean" version of our Knowledge Interfaces available to all shortly.
I would very much like to have your comments and suggestions as to how we can change our Knowledge Interfaces so that they are considered helpful to Wikipedia and Gutenberg users. Your input and recommendations are considered very important.
So based on the links you saw, could you please take a moment to provide me with clear and precise comments as to what you liked and disliked about the Knowledge Interfaces we have provided to the Wiki community. It would be very appreciated and in return I'll send you a free copy of our software for your time.
Hopefully, this follow up with you personally will change your views about our intentions in this community.
Sincerely
Arnold Villeneuve 22:48, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi!
This is just to let you know that I have no problem with your decision to stick some templates on the userpage and usertalk page of that user whom I indefinitely blocked earlier today. My own feeling was that, in a case so egregious as this, it was better to just kill the account without giving the person behind it the satisfaction of any acknowledgement, but maybe I'm wrong about that. :) Metamagician3000 10:03, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

There is discussion to merge this template here. Being the creator of the template, I thought I should let you know... -- Selmo (talk) 00:49, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
Help requested
Hi
I'm writing to you - and others - because you are one of several people who appears to have experienced the same thing as I have noticed and experienced.
Namely a pattern of vandalism by an anonymous user. The IP # is 66.229.10.64
See this user's talk page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:66.229.10.64
This user has been temporarily blocked several times. I notice that the pattern is the same.
The person doesn't seem to respond to polite community requests to engage in dialogue - or to desist from repeatedly making edits that several editors consider to be vandalism.
I am not that experienced in these matters but can there be an attempt made to block this user permanently? Or at least for a period of time so that the person gets a message about respecting the community. Thanks. Davidpatrick 02:39, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
