[edit] Buchanan-Hermit
Discuss here (4/6/1) ending 23:59, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Buchanan-Hermit (talk · contribs) – As a recent changes patroller during the wee hours of 1am to 3am Pacific Time, I am hereby requesting sleep. Even though my university course is in the afternoon, I feel that I deserve to have at least 8 hours of sleep to keep sane and well-rested. -→Buchanan-Hermit™/!? 05:30, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Oppose
- Oppose - seems unstable enought to trust the pillow... It might lead to a massive revoliution. Renata 06:42, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose This is a person that does not need to sleep, therefore, it does not need to sleep. 154.20.27.14 06:48, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
- Strongly Oppose Having recently been awarded the title of Administrator on this WikiPedia, Mr. Buchanan-Hermit is responsible for the upkeep of the future of information distribution. Why, then, succumb to tempatation and allow himself to be lured by the saucy temptress that is sleep? Surely Mr. B-H can discover a new, more contemporary means of rest that is compatible with our 24/7 society. --Ckatz 06:54, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Questions for the candidate
Dear candidate, thank you for offering to sleep in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:
- 1. What sleeping chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? Please check out [[Category:Sleep]], and read the pages about sleep and mattresses.
- A: I will likely involve myself in dreams containing epic battles with great enemies who are threatening the safety of Wikipedians everywhere. And, of course, I shall be having nightmares to keep myself on guard.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to sleep, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A: I am pleased with the way I handle the appearance of Adolf Hitler in my dreams. As a master manipulator of dreams, I have managed to transform myself into Superman several times to beat Hitler with my giant laser. (If Hitler is wearing a Calgary Flames jersey, I usually resort to several sticks of dynamite as well.)
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over sleeping in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Yes... Ceiling Cat watching me sleep usually makes me nervous, and causes me stress as well. I normally respond by challenging the Cat to an insult swordfighting contest. I usually win despite fighting like a dairy farmer, because the Cat fights like a cow.
