The Buckeye Bullet 2 is the second generation student-built alternative fuel race car created by students from The Ohio State University. The original Buckeye Bullet, an electric powered race car, holds the U.S. Land speed record at 314.958 mph (508.485 km/h). This second generation car will be the first hydrogen fuel cell powered land speed streamliner and is currently in the final stages of design and testing. It ran for the first time at Speedweek 2007, and will return in October 2007.
