Buckeye, Colorado

Buckeye is a small unincorporated rural community in northeastern Larimer County, Colorado, United States. The community consists of several farmhouses and ranches clustered around a grain silo along County Road 80 northwest of Wellington. The community was once served by a spur of the nearby Colorado and Southern Railroad. In the early 20th century there were a school and several stores. This railroad was dismantled in the middle of 20th century.
