Buck Crump

Norris Roy ("Buck") Crump, C.C., M.E., D.Eng., D.Sc., LL.D., D.C.L., (July 30, 1904 – December 26, 1989) was a Canadian businessman and President of the Canadian Pacific Railway Limited.
Born in Revelstoke, British Columbia, he joined the CPR in 1920 and he was elected President in 1955.[1] He retired on 1974. He was primarily responsible for converting the railroad to diesel locomotives and expanded the company into non-transportation sectors.
In 1971 he was made a Companion of the Order of Canada.
