Coordinates: 14°31′60″N 79°52′60″E / 14.5333, 79.8833 Buchireddipalem or Buchchiretidipalem or Buchi Reddy Palem is one of the biggest towns of the Nellore district of India. Located 15Km from Nellore city, it is located on the state highway connecting Nellore and Bombay. The nearest railway station is Nellore, the nearest sea port is Krishna Patnam and the nearest airport is Renigunta. It is well covered by cellular networks and there are six movie theatres. The population of Buchireddypalem is around 30 thousand, the residents being employed in both agriculture and business. Aquaculture, rice paddy and sugarcane are among the agricultural practices found there.

  • Mr. Bezawada Gopala Reddy, former chief Minister of AP & Governor of Uttar Pradesh, belongs to Buchireddipalem. His famous political rival sri Bezawada Ramachandra Reddy, one of the founders of Swatantra Party hails from the same town
